Pierce County Food Pantry used $40,000 in CARES Act funding to install new freezers and shelving at the pantry in order to increase storage capacity. This increased storage will enable the pantry to take in and give out more food to meet the surge in demand due to Covid-19. The new shelves will also make the pantry more efficient and be a nice improvement for the volunteers to work with.
Special Thanks to the volunteers who spent hours at the pantry putting together the new shelving! We are so excited about this huge improvement project!
