Celebrating June Dairy Month

Coordinators of the Ellsworth, River Falls, Prescott, Elmwood, Spring Valley and
Plum City food pantries met on Monday, June 22 to receive dairy products
donated by the Pierce County Dairy Promotion Committee. $3.675 was received
to the committee through cash donations from farmers and agribusinesses in our
area. In addition to Heidi Albarado and food shelf staff, Mary Brand, Felicia, Brian
and Lincoln Colbenson and Dean Bergseng from the Dairy Promotion Committee
and donors Mike Wesphal and Jodi Wiesenbeck, from Cargill, Inc. were on hand
for the dairy product distribution.
